Community Futures is celebrating 25 years of service to rural Canada, COME & CELEBRATE!!
Community Futures annual conference, "Challenges Create Solutions" will take place September 23 to September 25, 2010 at the Keystone Centre in Brandon, MB.
The conference will focus on innovative practices and create solutions to challenges facing rural and northern communities. Through a series of presentations, workshops, and networking opportunities, this annual event will bring together community leaders, development workers, business practitioners, students, and others interested in the future of their communities.
Some of the highlights of the conference include keynote speakers David Chilton, author of Canada's all-time best selling book, The Wealthy Barber, and Chief Clarence Louie, chief of the progressive Osoyoos Indian Band.
Conference participants will have the opportunity to select from a series of workshops focusing on economic impact, leadership and business development led by regional, national and international workshop leaders, entrepreneurs and community development practitioners.

Participants arriving on the opening day of the conference will have the option to join in one of the three afternoon tour packages highlighting some local and regional attractions.
Thursday's welcoming reception will be held at the Commonwealth Air Training Museum and Friday's evening banquet will be held at the Keystone Centre, will offer an opportunity to meet and network with other conference participants, workshop leaders and speakers.
