CF Westman announces first ever business incubator in Brandon

On Thursday September 23 from 1 to 4 pm you are invited to join in on our golf tournament on Westman's beautiful 18 hole championship golf course, Shilo Country Club.
It will be teams of four. Each team will have one CFB Shilo soldier and three conference delegates as a salute to our troops at CFB Shilo!
Golfing costs $40 per person (includes 18 holes and half a golf cart).
PLEASE NOTE: Transportation is not provided, but be advised the CF Conference committee will coordinate car pooling on your behalf.

RCA Museum & Westman Reptile Gardens Tour $30
RCA Museum & Westman Reptile Garden Tour costs $30 per person. The tour includes transportation from Canad Inns and back.
The RCA Museum is Canada's National Artillery Museum with 65,000 items including 54 vehicles and 400 small arms, diaries of soldiers, medals, uniforms, drill manuals, and other war memorabilia.
Westman Reptile Gardens became one of Manitoba's Star Attractions because of the vast and unique collection of reptiles, amphibians, and invertibrates including snakes, alligators, crocodiles, frogs, spiders, turtles, lizards, and geckos.
Please note as this facility houses exotic animals there is an odor associated with it. 

Affordable Housing Tour $15
Affordable Housing is an important issue that needs to be addressed in rural and northern communities. A guided tour will be provided to four locations within Brandon.
First stop is the 1200 block of Rosser Ave. At this location there are three projects to see; Dutch Mill project (1233 Rosser Ave.), Youth for Christ project (1228 Rosser Ave.) that is building transitional housing and 1202 Rosser Ave. Second stop will be the Massey building; there are approximately 55 units broken into five divisions with three partners including The Friendship Centre, Habitat for Humanity and the Canadian Mental Health Association. Third stop is 636 Victoria Ave which has six units and the final stop will be 662 Tenth Street which includes a teen centre, three transitional units and a literacy centre.
The tour will be guided by Rob Reimer, a private landlord for affordable housing, Dwayne Dick, Executive Director of Youth for Christ and Glen Kruk, Director of Canadian Mental Health Association.
A bus will be waiting at Canad Inns to pick up delegates at 1 p.m. Please meet in the Canad Inns front lobby. Tour starts at 1 pm ends approximately 4 pm.
